Come & Knock on Our Doors!
When the Beloit Inn was remodeled this past year to become the new Ironworks Hotel, dozens of metal doors were replaced and left without homes. Visit Beloit and Friends of Riverfront had an idea to bring the doors to life again and went to work finding artists in the Stateline area. At the time, it seemed like a simple plan…
460 bolts, 368 screws, more than 50 artists, a caravan of moving trucks, 4 tubes of liquid nails, countless hours of painting, and one structural engineering firm later, all 46 doors are installed and ready to go! Begin your journey through the City of Beloit and be inspired by the original designs of local artists, professional painters, students of all ages, and an elementary school class that really loves tigers!
Knock on our Doors in Beloit and South Beloit this summer. The Gateway to Wisconsin is now your Doorway to the Arts!

Be In It, The Official Blog of Visit Beloit
The staff at Visit Beloit enjoy and appreciate our community. We know that the greater Beloit region is full of great places for people to live, laugh, work and play. So, we've asked ten people to help us share the stories of our community from their perspective.
During the next year, our Be In It bloggers will write, photograph and video their experiences. We will be doing that, too!
