Before the Snappers arrived in town in 1982, the only professional baseball team in Beloit was a team affiliated with the old Class D Wisconsin Association in 1905. The Beloit Snappers were a Class A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers from when the club joined the Midwest League in 1982 until the end of the 2004 season. The team was known as the Beloit Brewers (named after the parent club) through the 1994 season, when the club name then changed to the Snappers. The team was then affiliated with the Minnesota Twins from 2005-2012. The Snappers are now the Class A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics and will remain with the Athletics through the 2018 season
All home games are held at Pohlman Field in Beloit. The Snappers play 70 home games and ticket prices start as low as $6.50.
If you are headed to a game with a group of eight or more adults, you may want to purchase passes to “Hog Heaven!” For $30, you get a game ticket, pass to the Miller “On Deck” and all-you-can-eat-and-drink for the entire game! Food includes hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, chips, and peanuts. Beverages include canned pepsi products, Miller Lite, and Miller High Life.
