Outdoor Music Festival
Looking for a fun evening with friends or family? The Beloit Club is hosting Rockin’ the Range—an outdoor festival with music, great food, and beverages! Unwind at the picturesque Beloit Club with blues, rock, and country music brought to you by the Ryan McGrath Band. The event is FREE to the public and members of the Beloit Club. New Brewery in Beloit!
G5 Brewing Company is a legacy project for a family of five Gunderson’s. It is built in their hometown at 1801 Gateway Boulevard. Brewhouse consultant and nationally certified Master Beer Judge, Keith Symonds, was hired to help establish the G5 Brewing brand. The Gateway brewery features a 10-barrel brewing system. They are currently serving 12 brews including wheats, IPAs, browns, and stouts just to name a few.
In addition to beer, they offer five white wines and four reds and a full menu, including appetizers, soups and salads, sandwiches, burgers, entrees, and pizza.

New Venue for Live Music!
Truk’t opened in fall of 2018 and has been a local favorite for their fresh ingredients, hand-made tortillas, and of course house margaritas!
In addition to amazing food, truk’t is now having live music every Saturday during the Farmers’ Market at 12 pm May through October. Their garage doors will open early at 10 am for bloodies and cocktails (weather permitting).

Summer Rooftop Wine Tastings!

The grand room/open-air terrace on top of Hotel Goodwin, the only rooftop venue in Beloit, will be the site of three wine tasting events this summer. These events, hosted by Velvet Buffalo Café and Hotel Goodwin will offer the best views of downtown Beloit while you sip, savor, and share amazing wine! Each tasting will feature different bottles from a number of wine producers and regions. Ticket price includes wine tasting as well as sample food pairings. Purchase tickets here!

New Rock River Trail Visitor Center!
Nature At The Confluence, and urban environmental center in South Beloit, IL, received a 2019 Environmental Grant to support a new Rock River Trail visitor information center at Nature At The Confluence which is located at the half-way point on the Rock River Trail.
Grant funds will be used to create learning features such as an exterior interpretive sign and an interior display through which visitors will learn about the watershed and the importance of water stewardship and habitat restoration.
