Parks

The Beloit area is home to various outdoor parks. Gather friends and family for a picnic, relax in the shade, and de-stress by the river.

One of Beloit’s favorite parks is the Riverside Park. It sits on the bank of the scenic Rock River. This 23-acre park features the Beloit River Walk – a 3.5-mile paved trail, Turtle Island Playground – complete with a treehouse and sandpit for the little ones, and the Rotary River Center. You can also rent paddle boats and tandem bikes. You can enjoy trails, walkways, and playgrounds in all of Beloit’s parks.

Worried your furry friend will miss out? Pack a tennis ball or a Frisbee and head over to the Beloit Dog Park! This 2.5-acre park contains a fenced off-leash area where your dog can run, play, and socialize freely. The area is divided into two – one is specially designed for smaller breed dogs, while the other is reserved for larger breed dogs.
