Shop, Eat, Dance at the 25th Annual Street Dance!

Street Dance, now in it’s 25th year, is the Downtown Beloit Association’s largest annual event and Street Dance continues to grow! This year’s event is on Friday, August 3rd in the heart of Downtown Beloit and starts at 5:30 pm. The opening band, Top Flight, is guaranteed to entertain; offering high-energy Pop, Funk, R&B, and more!
Several food vendors will be on-site to satisfy your appetite, and there will be a beer tent to quench your thirst! The headliner for the evening will be Mr Big Stuff. This band will wow you with show tunes, rock classics, funk, R&B, and soul! Admission is $5.
Come to Beloit earlier in the day to have lunch and enjoy a free concert at Fridays in the Park. For just $7, you get a lunch and drink combo served by a local restaurant from 11:30 am-1:00 pm. In addition, shop-till-you-drop at the downtown Beloit sidewalk sale from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm on Friday and Saturday. Stroll through the historically preserved downtown, and see an exceptional array of boutiques, galleries, restaurants, coffee shops, a record store, and even an old-fashioned barber shop!
There are several hotels available if you would like to rest your weary head after the festivities and stay the night. Get up early to experience the award-winning Farmers’ Market! This open-air market has been in operation for more than 40 years and is the second largest in the state, showcasing over 100 vendors and bursting at the seams with fresh produce, flowers, meats, cheeses, jewelry, crafts, handmade soaps, kettle corn and pastries, and that’s just the beginning!
