BIFF x Beloit College Queer Shorts Film Festival

The festival will feature a selection of LGBTQ+ short films that showcase a wide range of voices, stories, and perspectives from filmmakers around the world. Through these films, the event highlights the diverse experiences within the LGBTQ+ community.

Last year’s festival received more than 300 submissions, with seven exceptional finalists chosen to be screened during the event.

This year’s program will begin with a pre-event gathering at 6:00 pm, including a panel discussion with guest speakers and light refreshments. The film screenings will take place from 7:00–8:30 pm, when winners in each category will also be announced. The evening will wrap up with an afterparty from 8:30–9:30 pm featuring food, mocktails, music, and a photo booth where attendees can celebrate the filmmakers and their work.
