We are honored to announce the Welcome Home Parade for our Veterans and Rosie-the-Riveters, Wednesday, May 24th.
VetsRoll, a locally grown organization, takes the Vets and Rosies, coming from WWII and the Korean War, to Washington D.C. from Beloit to give them closure, gratitude and respect.
Bring glow sticks, wear your red, white and blue – or 1940s style – clothing and let the kids stay up late for this special homecoming, one many of the attendees never received.
There are multiple vantage points and time ranges to view the welcome parade, and you can see those at visitbeloit.com/vetsroll.

It`s Where`s Hip Grandma Wednesday! Where am I here? Here`s your hint: This really cool place has a focus on automobiles, but displays a little bit of everything! This is a must-stop if you`re in the area!
And the answer is:
This is the Historic Auto Attractions Museum in Roscoe, Illinois, just a few minute south of visitbeloit and only a mile off of I-90. This museum is chock full of cars, tv memorabilia, and artifacts from American presidents and has a huge display of wax characters. Worth a stop if you`re heading that way!
