Welty Weeknight Paddles

Join Welty for a summer of weeknight kayaking/canoeing/paddle boarding on the Rock River. Meet us at the Buccaneer Boathouse, for a leisurely paddle, using Boathouse gear (boats, paddles, life jackets) from their easy-launching dock. These paddles are intended for adults. There is no lifeguard and minimal instruction, so familiarity with kayaks and strong swimming skills are encouraged. Waivers and life preservers are required before using any equipment (available at the Boathouse). Equipment is available on a first come-first serve basis; all equipment must be returned to the Boathouse by 7pm (when Boathouse staff leaves). In case of severe weather, the paddle will be canceled for that week (an email will be sent 2 hours prior, and we will post on Facebook).

Please register on our website to reserve equipment. Reservations will be held until 5:40pm.
