GRAND LIGHTED HOLIDAY PARADE
For 29 years, the Downtown Beloit Association has organized the Grand Lighted Holiday Parade. This year the parade will be in reverse. Drive through the Third Street parking lot and view the fabulous holiday floats!
The City of Beloit has determined that social distancing measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 would not occur during a traditional holiday parade. Rather than offer no holiday parade, the decision was made to bring back the holiday parade in reverse. “While this is understandably disappointing, we are erring on the side of caution. We hope that conditions will allow us to return to a traditional parade for the 2022 holiday season,” said Shauna El-Amin, Executive Director of the Downtown Beloit Association.
“The Holiday Parade gets bigger and better every year,” said El-Amin. “It’s a fantastic, fun event to kick off the holiday season, spend time with family, and make new acquaintances!”
