BELOIT, Wis. – July brings peak summer activity to the Greater Beloit Area, with a full calendar of festivals, outdoor concerts, family-friendly events, and community celebrations across the Stateline Area.
“With summer traditions like Fridays in the Park, the Downtown Beloit Farmers’ Market, Music at Harry’s Place, and so much more, there are plenty of opportunities to get outside and enjoy everything summer has to offer,” says Savannah Schindler, Director of Communications with Visit Beloit. “July is especially exciting this year with America250 celebrations, including the annual Pops on the Rock concert and fireworks show, and other patriotic activities.” Along with these July events, don’t forget to visit our website calendar for additional details on other exciting community happenings throughout the year.
Rockton River Market | Every Wednesday, May – August, 5-8 p.m. | Settlers Park
- Come for the shopping and stay for the music at the Rockton River Market. Each week features performances by regional bands from the Stateline Area, playing everything from rock and country to pop and more. The market includes a variety of food and craft vendors. Bring your lawn chair, blanket, and even your dog to downtown Rockton every Wednesday for this free concert series.
Fridays in the Park | Every Friday, May – September, 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. | Bank First Plaza
- Start the weekend with Fridays in the Park, an annual summer lunchtime concert series held every Friday in downtown Beloit. Hosted by the Downtown Beloit Association for more than three decades, the event features live music from local bands and a $10 lunch special from a different restaurant each week.
Music at Harry’s Place | Every Friday, June – August, 7-9 p.m. | Harry Moore Pavilion
- Enjoy summer nights at Riverside Park during Music at Harry’s Place, a free Friday night concert series through August featuring live music from top regional bands, food vendors, beverages, and beautiful Rock River views. On alternating Monday evenings, join Dancing at Harry’s Place for free dance lessons and open dancing from 7-9 p.m. Come solo or bring a partner.
Beloit Farmers’ Market | Every Saturday, May – October, 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Downtown Beloit
- The Downtown Beloit Farmers’ Market is officially back outdoors! With more than 130 vendors offering fresh produce, baked goods, crafts, and so much more, it’s the second-largest farmers’ market in Wisconsin, drawing more than 6,000 visitors each week. In addition to shopping, enjoy live music, food trucks, family-friendly activities, and explore the downtown businesses.
Guided Tours | Every Saturday & Sunday, May – November, 1-4 p.m. | Beckman Mill
- Beckman Mill, a 50-acre park featuring a restored 1868 grist mill, dam, and mill pond, is open for tours throughout the warmer months. Guided tours are offered every weekend, with additional demonstrations on the first Saturday of each month for a small charge.
Beloit Sky Carp Baseball | April – September, view schedule | ABC Supply Stadium
- Head to the ballpark and enjoy major league fun at minor league prices with the Beloit Sky Carp, Beloit’s minor league baseball team. Throughout the 2026 season, fans can look forward to giveaways, theme nights, highlights, and more. Purchase tickets online or at the gate, and be sure to follow Visit Beloit on social media for chances to win ticket giveaways.
AJGA Girls Junior All-Star Championship | Monday, June 29 – Thursday, July 2 | Beloit Club
- Beloit is proud to welcome 78 of the world’s top female junior golfers, ages 12 to 15, to the Beloit Club. Competitors will travel from Argentina, Canada, China, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and more than 20 U.S. states to participate in this prestigious event. The week begins Monday with a Junior-Am shamble format fundraiser open to local players and businesses, followed by tournament play Tuesday through Thursday. Spectators are encouraged to attend and watch these talented young athletes compete for an exemption into the ANNIKA Invitational.
America250 Celebrations | Saturday, July 4 | Various Beloit locations
- Celebrate Independence Day and America250 in Beloit with a weekend full of patriotic fun. Enjoy Pops on the Rock at Riverside Park, featuring a free concert by the Beloit Janesville Symphony Orchestra and fireworks at dusk. Families can participate in the Bike Parade at Riverside Park, while players can compete in the America250 Pickleball Tournament at Wootton Park. Welty Weeknight Paddles | Wednesday, July 8 & 22, 5:30-7 p.m. | Beloit College Buccaneer Boathouse
- Adventurers ages 18 and older can enjoy a fun night out on the Rock River with the Welty Environmental Center staff. Equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis, including kayaks, paddleboards, canoes, life jackets, and paddles. Paddlers can meet at the Buccaneer Boathouse for a leisurely paddle and can use the launch dock to head out on the water.
Downtown Late Edition | Every 2nd & 4th Thursday, June – August, 5-7 p.m. | Downtown Beloit
- Visit downtown Beloit every other Thursday night this summer for a fun event hosted by the Downtown Beloit Association. Downtown Late Edition will feature live music at Bank First Plaza, and many local businesses will stay open late for evening shopping and entertainment.
Sun Valley Strawberry Festival | Saturday, July 11, 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. | Sun Valley Presbyterian Church
- Enjoy a day filled with fun, food, entertainment, and all things strawberry during the Sun Valley Strawberry Festival. Held outdoors on the church grounds, the annual festival features breakfast, lunch, desserts, live music, a carnival, raffle baskets, craft vendors, and plenty of strawberries for sale. Proceeds from the event support local programs in the Beloit community.
Summer Sidewalk Sale | Saturday, July 11, 10 a.m. | Downtown Rockton
- Shop local and score great deals during the Rockton Summer Sidewalk Sale. Browse specials from local boutiques and businesses while enjoying the historic downtown area. After you shop ‘til you drop, be sure to check out the downtown restaurants, cafés, or pubs for a bite to eat.
Art & Ale Fest | Saturday, July 11, 12-6 p.m. | The Barrel House at G5 Brewing Company
- Art & Ale Fest brings together local artists and live entertainment for a fun-filled day. Guests can browse unique artwork, meet talented creators, and enjoy local beer and beverage offerings. Attendees can also check out G5 Brewing Company’s new event space while they are there.
Paranormal Investigation | Saturday, July 18, 7-10 p.m. | Historic Attractions
- Historic Attractions is teaming up with Haunted Rockford for an evening of paranormal investigation and haunted stories. Explore the museum after hours, learn about reported paranormal activity, and participate in a unique ghost-hunting experience. Tickets can be purchased online in advance for those who are brave.
Christmas in July Pub Crawl | Saturday, July 25, 8 p.m. | Downtown Rockton
- Enjoy holiday cheer mid-summer with festive drinks, themed activities, and stops at local bars and restaurants throughout downtown Rockton during the Christmas in July Pub Crawl. Participants can dress in their favorite holiday attire and support local businesses.
