The Salvation Army of Rock County – Tuesday, November 26, 11am
The Salvation Army of Rock County invites everyone to a heartwarming Thanksgiving gathering and free community meal. This special event provides a welcoming space for fellowship, connection, and the joy of togetherness. Families, friends, and neighbors are encouraged to come together to celebrate the spirit of gratitude and support those in need during the holiday season. It’s an opportunity to enjoy delicious food, and connect with others in the community.

Annual Thanksgiving Day Community Dinner – Thursday, November 28, 11am-2pm
Overflowing Cup Total Life Center presents a free Thanksgiving Day meal! Turkey and all the trimmings for 600 to 700 people will be available, and all are welcome to join at 229 W. Grand Ave., Beloit. There will be a take-out, dine-in, and delivery options to enjoy the feast.

Rockton American Legion Thanksgiving Dinner – Thursday, November 28, 1pm
If you’re struggling without a home, disconnected from family, or just don’t feel like cooking, this is for you! The bar will be open, and football games will be on. Meals will be served until they run out. For those who can’t make it out, they’ll also be delivering meals.
To get a hot meal delivered, just call 815-624-7350 or email rocktonlegion1@gmail.com with a name and address. (Delivery is available in Roscoe, Rockton, or South Beloit).
Thanksgiving Friends Gathering – Thursday, November 28, 4-6pm
Have no place to go? Visit Palpable’s Pub in South Beloit for tasty food! Meat and potatoes provided, but bring a dish to pass if you wish!
WAYS TO HELP THOSE IN NEED
Annual Thanksgiving Day Community Dinner – Thursday, November 28, 11am-2pm
In 2023, they served over 600 meals in just three hours! This year, they need your help to make it happen again. To volunteer to prepare/serve meals, contact Wendy at 815-871-5197, to help deliver meals, call 608-365-0365, to donate, call 608-365-0365. Your support feeds families in need!
Rockton American Legion Thanksgiving Dinner – Thursday, November 28, 1pm
Anyone interested in donating can drop items off at the Rockton American Legion for their Thanksgiving Dinner. They are accepting everything from turkeys to non-perishable food items. For any questions, feel free to email them at rocktonlegion1@gmail.com.
Thanksgiving “We Are Family” Dinner – Thursday November 28, 4pm
It’s time to come together to break bread, show love, have fun, reminisce, and make memories. The cost is $20 per household to help purchase meat and other items needed. If you can give more, it’s welcomed and appreciated.
