Heritage Sunday at Beckman Mill is an annual free event at Beckman Mill County Park in Beloit, Wisconsin, featuring historic trade demonstrations such as broom making, blacksmithing, wood carving, and basket weaving, along with live music, kids’ activities like butter making and corn shelling, and living-history displays from Civil War–era soldiers to WWII and Vietnam reenactors. The mill begins its traditional grain-grinding operation around noon—using its original 1860s water-powered turbine—and visitors can tour the museum, cooperage, blacksmith shop, creamery displays, heritage garden, and gift shop. The 50-acre park, home to the restored National Register–listed grist mill, also offers horse-drawn wagon rides, a collector car display, food and desserts for purchase, and educational opportunities supported by the Friends of Beckman Mill, who maintain the historic structures and interpret their significance for the public. There is no admission charge for the event but donations are greatly appreciated!
