The Musica Maxima series will kick off the 2024 season with a variety of musical treats, including an organ concert, vocal performances and a performance by David Newman and the Zephyr Wind Quintet.
All performances will be at 3 p.m. at First Congregational Church, 801 Bushnell St.
Baroque violinist Leanne Kelso will usher in the spring on Sunday, April 7 with a performance. She will be accompanied by Max Yount on harpsichord as they perform chamber music by Johann Sebastian Bach, Francois Couperin and Heinrich Biber.
All performances are free, but any free-will donations would be appreciated.
