We will tour a portion of Rockton’s National Historic District which was established in 1978. The district is significant because of the high concentration of Greek Revival buildings – a style that pays homage to the architecture of ancient Greece, the world’s first democracy.

The free tours will all start at the Old Stone Church, 101 E. Union, Rockton at 11 am. The second and third tours are scheduled for May 4 and June 1.

Hosted by the Rockton Historic Preservation Commission in conjunction with research contribution from the Rockton Township Historical Society.
