Join Welty for a sensory night hike!
Dave Bendlin, local naturalist and retired Milton biology teacher, will lead a hike in Big Hill Park to smell night-blooming flowers, look for bats, bioluminescent fungi, glow worms, and fireflies and listen for crickets, frogs and owls.The hike will cover roughly 2 miles around the park with frequent stops to use our senses on a warm summer night. Wear light colored clothing and some type of mosquito repellent, but please leave your flashlights at home.Please register on our website. The event is free but donations are welcome!
