Tubing on the Sugar River with 5BAR

Summer is coming!

Time to plan our tubing trips. Overall the trips on the river are relaxing, the flow of the river is very mild but safety is always primary. People of all ages are welcome, life-vests are provided, its a shallow and slow river with roughly 4 sandbars to stop and stand or throw a frisbee or two.

5BAR hosts meet ups to head out on the water as a great way to enjoy Wisconsin living. Making new friends, enjoying a lager or drink, sharing snacks and stories, all while watching Lady corgi run around and sleep in a tube are the goals. Wanna join us?

10:00 5BAR opens for tubers
10:30 carpool arrangements, gather ice
11:00 leave for S&B Tubing in Albany
11:45 sign up and pay
12:00 get into the water
4:30 meet at Center Tavern for drinks, sobering up, or food: 108 Water St, Albany, WI 53502
6:00 meet at 5BAR again for drinks and going with the flow

Cash only:
1 Person Inner Tube: $20
Cooler Tube (Cooler NOT INCLUDED, only need 1 per group of 4-6): $10
1 Person Kayak: $30

Things to bring and leave in your car:
-Towel
-Backup clothes
-Extra water
-Phones and wallets
-Suggested $5 cash for your driver

Things to bring on the river itself:
-NO GLASS
-Water (please bring at least 1 bottle)
-Sunscreen
-1 cooler per car
-Cash for tubes and snacks end of day
-Water safe shoes highly encouraged
Snacks in a water tight ziplock or other
Water toys that are easily shared and enjoyed
