Formerly known as Gopher’s Filling Station, the restaurant has reopened under new ownership as Austin’s Filling Station starting in July 2024. In addition to their regular lunch and dinner menu, they offer a delicious breakfast menu, featuring their award-winning Bloody Marys, which were voted “Best” in the Best of Stateline 2024.
Cloudhaven dispensary
CloudHaven Dispensary, South Beloit, Illinois’ newest cannabis dispensary, opened in January 2025 and is located on Gardner Street. The store offers flower, pre-rolls, vaporizers, edibles, concentrates, tinctures, topicals, and more. Please note that recreational marijuana was legalized in Illinois on January 1, 2020, but it is still ILLEGAL in Wisconsin.
DUNKIN‘
As of July 2024, Beloit now has two Dunkin’ locations, with the newest one on Prairie Avenue. The popular coffee and donut chain serves a variety of small food items as well as specialty coffee drinks. Stop in to order or swing by their convenient drive-thru.

Let the good times roll with all your friends and family at Henry Dorrbaker’s Pub & Play, located in the Ironworks Campus along the beautiful Rock River. Beloit’s newest vibrant hangout spot, which opened in November 2024, blends nostalgic vibes with modern entertainment. The venue features duckpin bowling – a fun twist on traditional bowling with smaller balls and pins – mini golf, vintage arcade games, racing simulators, delicious food and drinks, and much more. All ages are welcome to enjoy the fun until 8 p.m., and after it is 21+. The Pub & Play is named after Henry Dorrbaker, who was the first to open a bowling alley in Beloit in 1899.

La Croûte Bakery Café, a women-owned business founded by a Stateline Area native, opened in October 2024. This upscale bakery and café serves specialty coffee drinks alongside a rotating menu of freshly baked pastries, soups, and more. You’ll also find a selection of small retail items from local vendors, including candles and unique gifts.
PENTAGONO RESTAURANT
New to the Galleria Shopping Center in Beloit, Pentagono Restaurant opened in August 2024, specializing in Dominican Republic dishes, which are rare to find in Wisconsin. Their signature dish, the “Dominican Flag,” features a delicious combo of white rice, stewed beans, and stewed beef or chicken.

With extensive experience in the restaurant industry, the owner is excited to welcome the community for breakfast, brunch, and lunch at their new café on South Afton Road in Beloit.
ho-chunk gaming beloit
Ho-Chunk Gaming is set to bring a major new entertainment and hospitality destination to Beloit, with the casino expected to open in the summer of 2026, and the hotel and conference center in 2027. The $405 million project, which broke ground in October 2024 and is located near Willowbrook and Colley Roads, will feature a 240,478 sq. ft. casino floor, making it the second-largest in Wisconsin. The facility will offer between 1,500-1,800 slot machines, 44 table games, a sportsbook, and four restaurants. In addition, an 18-story hotel with 312 rooms and a conference center will be built. This massive project will employ over 1,500 staff members and contribute to Beloit’s revitalization as a vibrant tourism hub.

Visit Beloit is excited to announce the upcoming opening of a brand-new event space on the Rock River, set to open in March 2025! The versatile event center will host a variety of events including comedy acts and small concerts, accommodating groups of up to 150 people. Guests will enjoy the stunning views through the large window facing the river, which will be a beautiful backdrop for all events, along with a bar offering a selection of beer and wine.
