Visit Beloit Seeks Sponsors and Volunteers for 2026 AJGA Girls Junior All-Star Championship

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – March 5, 2026

Help Welcome the Golf Tournament Through Sponsorship and Volunteer Support

BELOIT, Wis. — Visit Beloit is excited to welcome back the AJGA Girls Junior All-Star Championship for its second straight year in the community. The nationally recognized all-girls tournament will be held June 29 – July 2, 2026, at the Beloit Club in Beloit, Wisconsin.

Hosted by the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA), the championship is a standout event in the ANNIKA Foundation’s Pathway Series. The competition highlights elite female golfers ages 12-15, with the winner earning an exemption into the prestigious ANNIKA Invitational.

A total of 78 of the nation’s top-ranked junior golfers will compete in a three-day, stroke-play format. Participants are selected through the AJGA’s Performance Based Entry system, creating a highly competitive and accomplished field.

During its inaugural year in 2025, the championship welcomed 54 players representing 20 U.S. states and territories, along with athletes from five additional countries.

The AJGA Girls Junior All-Star Championship will open with a Junior-Am on Monday, June 29, played in a shamble format, offering local businesses and community members the opportunity to register and compete alongside a junior golfer while supporting the event.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for organizations looking to increase visibility and community engagement, offering promotional exposure and additional benefits. Each Junior-Am team registration includes breakfast, player gift packages, a post-golf reception, and a hole sponsorship. Individual golfers and three-player teams are invited to participate in the Junior-Am tournament. For more information about participating in the Junior-Am and or becoming a sponsor, please contact Matt Bosen at matt@visitbeloit.com or find details at https://visitbeloit.com/ajga/.

As these junior athletes take the course for championship play, volunteers will play a vital role in supporting a smooth and successful tournament. Volunteers ages 16 and older are encouraged to participate, making this a great opportunity for high school students in need of service hours. Younger individuals may be able to help alongside a participating adult volunteer. Incentives for volunteering throughout the tournament include small gift items, a chance to support the next generation of golf, and a letter for community service (if needed for a student).

Volunteer roles include serving at Timing Stations to monitor group pace, acting as a Water Rover by operating a cart to provide water and ice to players during their rounds, and supporting tournament logistics as a Utility Volunteer by assisting with general event needs. No prior golf knowledge is required. To register as a volunteer and to find more details, please visit https://visitbeloit.com/ajga/ or contact Matt Bosen at matt@visitbeloit.com.

“Visit Beloit is excited to welcome our partners at the AJGA back to host another group of incredibly talented female athletes,” said Matthew Bosen, Director of Sales & Servicing with Visit Beloit. “We look forward to welcoming players from all over the United States and beyond to showcase the Beloit Club and all the other amenities the Stateline Area has to offer”.

Bosen added that local golfers will also have the opportunity to participate in the Junior-Am on Monday, June 29, which will raise funds to benefit the ANNIKA Foundation. “We are hopeful the 2026 tournament delivers the same level of excitement as the inaugural event,” he said. “Last year’s competition came down to a one-shot difference for the title, claimed by Alexandra Snyder of Florida with a course record 8-under par on the final day”.
