A Cozy Retreat in Beloit
Beloit is a fantastic starting point for our fall adventure. Located just 90 minutes from Chicago, it’s an easily accessible getaway for a quick escape. The quaint downtown area features unique shops and iconic cafes. Here, you can sip on pumpkin spice lattes or Americanos at Blue Collar Coffee Co. while enjoying some shopping along the scenic Riverwalk.
If you love shopping, Beloit has plenty to offer. We especially enjoyed our stay at Hotel Goodwin, perfectly located in the heart of downtown with a rooftop bar. Don’t miss the Ironworks Hotel as well; both are great boutique hotels to stay and enjoy a drink or dinner.
Be sure to check out the Beloit Farmers’ Market every Saturday May-October, which continues indoors November-April. G5 Brewing Company is a must-visit for craft beer enthusiasts! We ordered their craft flights and one of the best cheeseburgers in Beloit—definitely a highlight of our trip.
