BELOIT, Wis. – June marks the official start of summer in the Greater Beloit Area, bringing a packed calendar of festivals, outdoor activities, and community celebrations for residents and visitors. From traditions to Visit Beloit-managed summer events, there are countless ways to celebrate the season throughout the Stateline Area.
“With returning favorites like Fridays in the Park, Old Settlers Days, the Downtown Beloit Farmers’ Market, and so much more, there are plenty of opportunities to get outside and enjoy summer,” says Savannah Schindler, Director of Communications with Visit Beloit. “We’re also excited to welcome both locals and visitors to special events executed by Visit Beloit, which showcase the region’s vibrant culture, thriving small businesses, and welcoming community spirit.” Along with these June events, don’t forget to visit our website calendar for additional details on other exciting community happenings throughout the year.
Rockton River Market | Every Wednesday, May – August, 5-8 p.m. | Settlers Park
- Come for the shopping and stay for the music at the Rockton River Market. Each week features performances by regional bands from the Stateline Area, playing everything from rock and country to pop and more. The market includes a variety of food and craft vendors. Bring your lawn chair, blanket, and even your dog to downtown Rockton every Wednesday for this free concert series.
Fridays in the Park | Every Friday, May – September, 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. | Bank First Plaza
- Start the weekend with Fridays in the Park, an annual summer lunchtime concert series held every Friday in downtown Beloit. Hosted by the Downtown Beloit Association for more than three decades, the event features live music from local bands and a $10 lunch special from a different restaurant each week.
Bel’ Art Walk | Friday, June 5, 4-9 p.m. | Beloit Art Center & Downtown Beloit galleries
- Experience Beloit’s vibrant arts scene during this unique event. Explore exhibits at the Wright Museum of Art, Beloit Art Center, and Gallery ABBA before ending the evening with live music from Nick & Friends, food trucks, and refreshments in the Beloit Art Center alley. Don’t miss the First Friday Gallery Reception from 5-7 p.m. inside the Beloit Art Center, featuring new exhibits and local artwork.
Beloit Farmers’ Market | Every Saturday, May – October, 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Downtown Beloit
- The Downtown Beloit Farmers’ Market is officially back outdoors! With more than 130 vendors offering fresh produce, baked goods, crafts, and so much more, it’s the second-largest farmers’ market in Wisconsin, drawing more than 6,000 visitors each week. In addition to shopping, enjoy live music, food trucks, family-friendly activities, and explore the downtown businesses.
Guided Tours | Every Saturday & Sunday, May – November, 1-4 p.m. | Beckman Mill
- Beckman Mill, a 50-acre park featuring a restored 1868 grist mill, dam, and mill pond, is open for tours throughout the warmer months. Guided tours are offered every weekend, with additional demonstrations on the first Saturday of each month for a small charge.
Music at Harry’s Place | Every Friday, June – August, 7-9 p.m. | Harry Moore Pavilion
- Enjoy summer nights at Riverside Park during Music at Harry’s Place, a free Friday night concert series through August featuring live music from top regional bands, food vendors, beverages, and beautiful Rock River views. On alternating Monday evenings starting June 8, join Dancing at Harry’s Place for free dance lessons and open dancing from 7-9 p.m. Come solo or bring a partner.
Beloit Sky Carp Baseball | April – September, view schedule | ABC Supply Stadium
- Head to the ballpark and enjoy major league fun at minor league prices with the Beloit Sky Carp, Beloit’s minor league baseball team. Throughout the 2026 season, fans can look forward to giveaways, theme nights, highlights, and more. Purchase tickets online or at the gate, and be sure to follow Visit Beloit on social media for chances to win ticket giveaways.
Cruise Night at the Museum | Wednesday, June 10, 5-8 p.m. | Historic Attractions
- For family fun during the week, stop by Historic Attractions to see a showcase of antique and vintage cars, enjoy live music, and grab dinner from the food vendor. This free event also includes discounted admission to the museum and is part of a monthly series happening the second week of each month through September.
2026 USA Table Tennis Midwest Championship | Saturday, June 13 – Sunday, June 14 | Beloit Memorial High School Fieldhouse
- The 2026 USA Table Tennis Midwest Championship will bring more than 300 visitors to Beloit, including more than 200 athletes from 16 states competing in singles and doubles matches. The competition will take place from approximately 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on both days, and spectators are welcome to attend. As part of the pathway to the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, the event offers a unique opportunity to watch future Olympians in action. Concessions will be available throughout the weekend.
Old Settlers Days | Thursday, June 18 – Sunday, June 21 | Settlers Park
- Support a great cause and enjoy fun for the whole family at the Rockton Lions Club’s annual festival. Old Settlers Days features live entertainment from both local and national acts, a carnival, food and drinks, a 5K run, 50/50 raffle, parade, blood drive, and much more. Purchase tickets online for the weekend-long event.
Make Music Day – Beloit | Sunday, June 21 | Greater Beloit Area Venues
- In celebration of the summer solstice and to highlight Beloit’s musical talent, Visit Beloit will host the fourth annual Make Music Day – Beloit. This free, citywide event is part of a global celebration. Beloit will come alive with music in the streets, parks, restaurants, and unique venues. Music will be performed by anyone and enjoyed by everyone all day and night. Performances can be viewed online.
Shopiere Days | Friday, June 26 – Sunday, June 28 | Sweet Allyn Park
- Celebrate Independence Day early during a weekend-long festival at Sweet Allyn Park. Enjoy truck and tractor pulls, a carnival, live music, 5K and 10K runs, tractor and car shows, a vendor market, duck races, fireworks, and raffle drawings during Shopiere Days.
AJGA Girls Junior All-Star Championship | Monday, June 29 – Thursday, July 2 | Beloit Club
- Beloit is proud to welcome 78 of the world’s top female junior golfers, ages 12 to 15, to the Beloit Club. Competitors will travel from Argentina, Canada, China, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and more than 20 U.S. states to participate in this prestigious event. The week begins Monday with a Junior-Am shamble format fundraiser open to local players and businesses, followed by tournament play Tuesday through Thursday. Spectators are encouraged to attend and watch these talented young athletes compete for an exemption into the ANNIKA Invitational.
