American Cornhole Organization Returns to Beloit

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – December 18, 2025

BELOIT, Wis. – The American Cornhole Organization (ACO) is scheduled to return to Beloit for the Beloit Major Tournament on January 9th and 10th, 2026. The upcoming tournament will take place at the Eclipse Event Center in Beloit and marks the 21st season of the ACO. The tournament has been held in Beloit each of the past five years and has sold out each year.

“The American Cornhole Organization has been an amazing partner for five years, and we are thrilled to welcome them back to Beloit,” explains Matthew Bosen, Director of Sales & Servicing with Visit Beloit, one of the event coordinators alongside ACO. “They do a great job promoting the event, and annually, we see more than 100 players from more than 10 states represented. The visiting players and family members provide an economic boost for area businesses in January.”

Spectators are welcome to watch these professionals at no cost. Food and beverages will be available for purchase for players and spectators. Tournament play will begin early on both Friday and Saturday, with matches lasting into the evening on both days. Watch the American Cornhole Organization Facebook event page for more information on this year’s schedule of events.

Additionally, on January 8th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Eclipse Event Center, there will be a Cornhole After Hours Charity Competition. Visit Beloit will host this charitable event, and proceeds will help benefit Beloit Meals on Wheels. Registration will be $10 per player or $20 for a team of two. There is no cost to attend for networking and viewing the community competition. Registration for the event is limited to 64 players. For more information and to register to participate in the tournament, please visit: www.visitbeloit.com/cornhole.

“Visit Beloit is an incredible community partner with Beloit Meals on Wheels,” says Linda Ross, Executive Director of Beloit Meals on Wheels. “They have a meal delivery team and provide support to take meals to our clients and make sure they are safe and well. The funding from the cornhole competition will provide meals for our clients. With more than 80% of our clients low to extremely low income, every dollar helps. We are thrilled to have their support and partnership!” Beloit Meals on Wheels has been serving non-driving, homebound seniors, aged 60+, in the Beloit area since 1971, providing daily nutritious meals to promote dignity and independence to the elderly, ill, and disabled.
