Gail Hakes West | Make Music Day

A pseudonym rooted in both sides of her family, Gail is a sappy singer-songwriter thriving on romanticism. Sometimes gloomy and sometimes hopeful, she can be a juxtaposition when it comes to the themes that show up in her music. Gail had spent most of 2020 into 2022 on Twitch, streaming live music and even debuting new songs along the way. She is now attempting to get back out and about locally, while pairing her music and art. To her, they go hand in hand and are hard to separate as music can be just as beautiful to the ears as artwork is to the eyes.
