The Musica Maxima series will kick off the 2024 season with a variety of musical treats, including an organ concert, vocal performances and a performance by David Newman and the Zephyr Wind Quintet.
All performances will be at 3 p.m. at First Congregational Church, 801 Bushnell St.
On June 2, David Newman and the Zephyr Wind Quintet will perform. The musicians to perform include David Newwman on piano, Kristen Davis on flute, Sue Newman on oboe, Christine Eckel on clarinet, Sarah L. Gillespie on horn and Andrew Briddell on bassoon.
All performances are free, but any free-will donations would be appreciated.
