Street Dance August 6-7
Street Dance is the Downtown Beloit Association’s largest annual event and continues to grow! This year’s event is on Friday, August 7th in the heart of Downtown Beloit and starts at 5:30 pm.
There is always an opening band and a headliner. Stay tuned for more info!
Several food vendors will be on-site to satisfy your appetite, and there will be a beer tent to quench your thirst!
Make a Day of It!
Come to Beloit early in the day for sidewalk sales and kids fun from 8 am-2 pm. You will find great deals from local shops, artisans, and vendors! Kids’ activities include face painting, balloon animals, and more!
You can also have lunch and enjoy a free concert at Fridays in the Park. For just $7, you get a lunch and drink combo served by by a local restaurant from 11:30 am-1:30 pm.
Stroll through the historically preserved downtown, and see an exceptional array of boutiques, galleries, restaurants, coffee shops, a record store, and even an old-fashioned barber shop!

Get up early on Saturday to experience the award-winning Farmers’ Market! This open-air market has been in operation for more than 40 years and is the second largest in the state, showcasing over 100 vendors and bursting at the seams with fresh produce, flowers, meats, cheeses, jewelry, crafts, handmade soaps, kettle corn and pastries, and that’s just the beginning!

Beloit also offers several museums and historical opportunities including the Wright Museum of Art, the Logan Museum of Anthropology, Historic Auto Attractions, guided tours of Beckman Mill, and the Beloit Art Center just to name a few.
The city has been praised for its live music, Class A minor league baseball team and affiliate to the Oakland Athletics, the Beloit Snappers, festivals and events, and “Music at Harry’s Place”—a free summer concert series along the Rock River.
