2. Dig into History at Historic Auto Attractions

Just an 8 minute drive across the Wisconsin border into Roscoe, IL, you’ll find a unique museum full of history. Be sure you have plenty of time, Historic Auto Attractions has over 80,000 sq. ft. of exhibits! Just a small portion of exhibits include collections of Presidential and World Leader’s Limousines and memorabilia, Big Foot Monster Trucks and Speed Boats, Egyptian Artifacts, NASA Space equipment, the iconic Batmobile from the Batman franchise, and so much more!

3. Swing on over to a Beloit Sky Carp Game at ABC Supply Stadium

Catch a Sky Carp baseball game at the newly built ABC Supply Stadium. You won’t be disappointed! The Sky Carps are a High-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins. Aside from the weekly games, there are plenty of themed events, great food choices, and promotions. The baseball season runs from April through September.

4. Watch a Movie on The Big Screen at Classic Cinemas 

There’s nothing better than watching a movie with a bucket of freshly popped popcorn! The 10-screen newly renovated Beloit movie theatre creates a luxury experience with heated reclining seats and free refills on popcorn, soda, and slushies. On Tuesdays, they offer $5 movies all day! 6. Skate over to Edwards Ice Arena

Chill out at the Edwards Ice Arena, open mid-October through March. They have public open skating times available. Didn’t bring your ice skates with you to college? No biggie, they got you! Skate rentals are $3/pair. If you aren’t great on the ice, they have skate helpers available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

7. Get your Game Face on at Ironworks Golf Lab

Try out the HD Simulators at the Ironworks Golf Lab for something fun to do with a group of friends. The state of the art technology gives you the opportunity to golf at 80+ courses around the world. Golf not your thing? They have two Visual Sports Simulators that let you choose to play interactive games including baseball, football, basketball, zombie dodgeball and more!

8. Take a Walk in the Park

If you feel like taking a break from homework and getting some fresh air, head out of your dorm and explore the beautiful parks, trails, and reserves that Beloit has to offer! You’ll find nearly 1,000 acres of park space waiting for you to discover. And if you’re in the mood for a fun activity, complete the Beloit & Beyond Outdoor Art Trail while you’re out and about.
