BELOIT, Wis. – As summer begins to wind down, August offers one last opportunity to experience the Greater Beloit Area at its busiest, with a calendar full of festivals, outdoor events, live music, sporting competitions, and local traditions.

Beloit Farmers’ Market | Every Saturday, May – October, 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Downtown Beloit

Start Saturday mornings at the Downtown Beloit Farmers’ Market! With more than 130 vendors offering fresh produce, baked goods, crafts, and so much more, it’s the second-largest farmers’ market in Wisconsin, drawing more than 6,000 visitors each week. In addition to shopping, enjoy live music, food trucks, family-friendly activities, and explore the downtown businesses.

Guided Tours | Every Saturday & Sunday, May – November, 1-4 p.m. | Beckman Mill

Beckman Mill, a 50-acre park featuring a restored 1868 grist mill, dam, and mill pond, is open for tours throughout the warmer months. Guided tours are offered every weekend, with additional demonstrations on the first Saturday of each month for a small charge.

Beloit Sky Carp Baseball | April – September, view schedule | ABC Supply Stadium

Head to the ballpark and enjoy major league fun at minor league prices with the Beloit Sky Carp, Beloit’s minor league baseball team. Throughout the 2026 season, fans can look forward to giveaways, theme nights, highlights, and more. Rockton River Market | Every Wednesday, May – August, 5-8 p.m. | Settlers Park

Come for the shopping and stay for the music at the Rockton River Market. Each week features performances by regional bands from the Stateline Area, playing everything from rock and country to pop and more. The market includes a variety of food and craft vendors. Bring your lawn chair, blanket, and even your dog to downtown Rockton every Wednesday for this free concert series.

Fridays in the Park | Every Friday, May – September, 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. | Bank First Plaza

Start the weekend with Fridays in the Park, an annual summer lunchtime concert series held every Friday in downtown Beloit. Hosted by the Downtown Beloit Association for more than three decades, the event features live music from local bands and a $10 lunch special from a different restaurant each week.

Downtown Beloit Street Dance | Friday, August 7, 5:30-11 p.m. | State Street, Downtown Beloit

Downtown Beloit’s biggest event of the year returns to State Street! Start the day with Sidewalk Sales from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m., featuring deals from downtown boutiques, shops, and local vendors. Then enjoy live music throughout the morning and Fridays in the Park from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. The celebration continues into the evening with the annual Street Dance, featuring live entertainment from Blue Steel and Mister Pink, line dancing, food trucks, a beer tent, and plenty of fun for the whole family. Admission is just $10, and children 13 and under get in free.

Beloit Kubb Open Presented by Beepa’s | Saturday, August 8, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. | Pohlman Field

The Beloit Kubb Open Presented by Beepa’s returns for its 12^th year, bringing the excitement of this unique wooden block throwing competition to Pohlman Field. Teams of two can compete in either the Competitive Division for experienced players or the Recreational Division for those new to the game. Teams will battle for the chance to win cash prizes while enjoying food and drinks served by the Beloit Youth Hockey Association. Spectators are welcome to watch the action and cheer on the teams. Beloit Taco Takedown | Saturday, August 8, 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. | Ironworks Campus

This delicious event returns for its 3^rd annual celebration at the Ironworks Campus. Taco vendors from across the Stateline Area will battle for the championship belt while guests enjoy live music, a DJ, a jalapeño-eating contest, cold drinks, and a fun atmosphere. Plus, $1 from every drink sold benefits VetsRoll. Admission is free, with VIP tickets available for those looking to elevate their experience at Henry Dorrbaker’s.

Music at Harry’s Place | Every Friday, June – August, 7-9 p.m. | Harry Moore Pavilion

Enjoy summer nights at Riverside Park during Music at Harry’s Place, a free Friday night concert series through August featuring live music from top regional bands, food vendors, beverages, and beautiful Rock River views. On alternating Monday evenings, join Dancing at Harry’s Place for free dance lessons and open dancing from 7-9 p.m. Come solo or bring a partner.

Beloit Dirty Dash | Saturday, August 15, 9-11 a.m. | Big Hill Park

Children ages 4 to 17 are invited to join the Beloit Dirty Dash mud run at Big Hill Park. This annual event draws more than 700 participants for a day of muddy fun, featuring exciting and challenging obstacles for all skill levels. Register online by July 31 to be part of the action.

Rock the Pride | Saturday, August 22, 1-5 p.m. | Telfer Park

Hosted by the Yellow Brick Road Organization, Rock the Pride is a free, family-friendly LGBTQ+ Pride festival celebrating community and inclusivity in Beloit. The event features local LGBTQ+-affirming businesses and organizations, shopping and resource booths, live music, comedy, drag performances, drag bingo, games, and activities.

Joey Fecci Food & Wine Festival | Saturday, August 29, 4-10 p.m. | Hidden Creek Estates

Celebrate the life and legacy of Chef Joey Fecci at an unforgettable evening of exceptional food, wine, and live entertainment. Enjoy tastings prepared by Michelin-starred and celebrity chefs, curated wine pairings, live music, artists on the lawn, and a live auction, with all proceeds supporting scholarships for aspiring culinary students.
