Beat the Winter Blues in Beloit this February!
BELOIT, Wis. – Beloit and the Stateline Area are embracing winter this February with an exciting lineup of events. From the return of favorites like Rockton Yeti Fest and Maple Sugar Fest to Valentine’s Day celebrations and more, there are plenty of ways for families and adults to get out and enjoy the season.

Open Ice Skating | Every Friday & Saturday, 7-9 p.m. & Sunday, 2-4 p.m. | Edwards Ice Arena
- Stop by Edwards Ice Arena throughout the winter for ice skating fun! Public skating sessions are offered Friday through Sunday until early spring. If you don’t have your own skates, rentals are available for just $3 per pair. For those who need extra help on the ice, skate aids are provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. A small fee applies to participate in the skate sessions.
Winter Crafter & Farmers’ Market | Every Saturday, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., November – April | Downtown Beloit Association
- The Beloit Farmers’ Market continues year-round, even though the open-air market is over for the season! Visit to purchase produce, cheese, eggs, honey, meat, crafts, soaps, and other miscellaneous items. Grab lunch from the food truck while you are there and look for free, family-friendly activities in the market.
Beloit Civic Theatre Production: The 39 Steps | See showtimes below | Elizabeth Reinholz Theatre
- Join for a murder mystery production, presented by Beloit Civic Theatre. An unsuspecting man finds himself caught in a spy plot after a shocking crime and must outrun spies and the police to clear his name. The result is a fun, fast-paced story with comedy and adventure. Showtimes: January 29, 30, and 31, and February 5, 6, and 7 at 7:30 p.m., with matinees on January 31 and February 1 and 7 at 3 p.m., at the Elizabeth Reinholz Theatre. Rockton Yeti Fest | Wednesday, February 4 – Saturday, February 7 | Downtown Rockton
- Shake off the frost with yeti-themed activities and events at this mid-winter festival. The Rockton Yeti Fest features fun for all ages, from snow sculpting displays and a scavenger hunt to dog sled demonstrations, a onesie pub crawl, a yeti dance party, and a treat trail. Many of the downtown Rockton businesses will participate in the festivities.
First Friday Gallery Reception | Friday, February 6, 5-7 p.m. | Beloit Art Center
- Visit the Beloit Art Center on the first Friday of each month for the Opening Reception of new exhibits. Local and regional artists will have their artwork featured in both the Bell and Sveum Galleries. This event is free and open to the public, with refreshments available. Galentine’s Day Party | Wednesday, February 11, 6-8 p.m. | DC Estate Winery
- Celebrate friendships at the 3rd Annual Galentine’s Day Event with the ultimate girls’ night out at DC Estate Winery. Enjoy a candle-making class, pre-made floral arrangements, local shopping, treats, and a signature Valentine’s Day drink. This 21+ event requires pre-purchased tickets, and space is limited.
Bloody Valentine: The Crimson Revelry | Friday, February 13, 8-11:45 p.m. | The Castle at 501 Prospect
- Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a gothic twist during this unique event featuring music, themed entertainment, interactive performances, food, specialty drinks, photo experiences, and a curated vendor market. Tickets can be purchased online with both general admission and VIP ticket options available.
A Bridgerton High Tea Experience | Sunday, February 15, 10 a.m. & 2 p.m. | Hidden Creek Estates
- Inspired by the television series, Bridgerton, this High Tea Experience offers a taste of the Regency era. Guests will enjoy a selection of teas, snacks, and a welcome mimosa in Hidden Creek Estates’ Grand Hall. Two seating times are available, and tickets can be purchased online.
18th Annual Maple Sugar Fest | Saturday, February 21, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. | Welty Environmental Center
- Bring the whole family to Maple Sugar Fest, hosted each year by Welty Environmental Center. Learn about maple sugar with activities like hiking the sugarbush, tapping maple trees, and watching sap boil. Enjoy breakfast afterward with pancakes, sausage, and local syrup, along with craft-making and story time. Breakfast tickets will be sold at the door.
