Discover What’s Happening in Beloit This March!
The Greater Beloit Area is welcoming the spring season with a full lineup of exciting events throughout March. From the return of the annual Beloit International Film Festival to festive St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, vintage shopping experiences, and more, there are plenty of opportunities for locals and residents to get out and enjoy time with family and friends.

Winter Crafter & Farmers’ Market | Every Saturday, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., November – April | Downtown Beloit Association
- The Beloit Farmers’ Market operates year-round, moving indoors for the colder months and transitioning back to its open-air format in May. Visit to purchase produce, cheese, eggs, honey, meat, crafts, soaps, and other miscellaneous items. Grab lunch from the food truck while you are there and look for free, family-friendly activities in the market.
Kids Bowl Free | Every Sunday, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. | Henry Dorrbaker’s
- Henry Dorrbaker’s, Beloit’s newest pub and play hangout, is offering a great Sunday deal for families. Bring the kids for free bowling – with the purchase of one adult bowler, two kids (ages 12 and under) bowl free by the hour. Come early and enjoy the fun all day. After 8 p.m., the venue is 21+ only.
Artistry & Apps | Thursday, March 5, 5-7 p.m. | Wright Museum of Art
- The Wright Museum of Art is collaborating with the Stateline Family YMCA for an evening of entertainment, food, and an art silent auction. This event will celebrate local artists while raising funds for social-emotional support in childcare programs. Tickets are available online, and space is limited.
Vintage Shop Hop – Spring Edition | Friday, March 6 – Saturday, March 7 | Various Stateline Area Vintage & Antique Shops
- Shop till you drop during the spring edition of the Vintage Shop Hop, a semi-annual event featuring more than 400 vintage shops, barn sales, and boutiques across Wisconsin and Illinois. Many Stateline Area shops will participate, offering great deals and promotions.
First Friday Gallery Reception | Friday, March 6, 5-7 p.m. | Beloit Art Center
- Visit the Beloit Art Center on the first Friday of each month for the Opening Reception of new exhibits. Local and regional artists will have their artwork featured in both the Bell and Sveum Galleries. This event is free and open to the public, with refreshments available. Electronic Mayhem | Saturday, March 14, 1-11:45 p.m. | The Castle at 501 Prospect
- The Castle at 501 Prospect is hosting a full-day showcase of electronic music, featuring a lineup of 10 artists. The 21+ event will include a full bar on-site, an energetic atmosphere, and an evening of entertainment. Tickets for the event can be purchased online.
St. Paddy’s Pub Crawl | Saturday, March 14, 6 p.m. | Downtown Rockton Bars & Restaurants
- Nearly 10 local Rockton bars and restaurants are teaming up for a festive St. Patrick’s Day pub crawl hosted by Downtown Rockton. Guests who visit four or more locations can enter to win prizes by turning in their punch card at their final stop.
Midwest Comedy Tour | Saturday, March 14, 7 p.m. | ABC Supply Stadium
- Visit the Beloit Health System Club at ABC Supply Stadium for the Midwest Comedy Tour. The show will feature comedians from across the region performing stand-up and improv. Tickets are available online for less than $25.
Beloit International Film Festival | March 25-28 | Downtown Beloit Venues
- The Beloit International Film Festival returns late March, continuing a tradition that has spanned more than 20 years. The five-day festival celebrates the power of independent film from around the globe, showcasing films in downtown Beloit and welcoming filmmakers from across the U.S. and around the world. Tickets and showtimes are available online.
Art in The Castle | Friday, March 27, 6-9 p.m. & Saturday, March 28, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. | The Castle at 501 Prospect
- Experience a new event at The Castle at 501 Prospect, showcasing more than 20 local and regional artists. The weekend-long art show will feature live music on Friday evening, along with food and drinks throughout the event. Taking place during the Beloit International Film Festival, attendees are encouraged to enjoy both events.
Love in Bloom Bridal Showcase | Sunday, March 29, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. | The Beloit Club
- Those who are recently engaged or planning a wedding or special event can attend a wedding showcase hosted by Geronimo Hospitality Group. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet vendors from across the Stateline Area, gather inspiration, tour The Beloit Club, and even receive an engagement portrait. Admission is free, but an RSVP is required.
