VISIT BELOIT SUPPORTS WINTER DRIVE TO HELP BELOIT BUNDLE UP

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – AUGUST 29, 2024

Local organizations serve as collection sites for annual charity drive.

BELOIT, Wis. – Visit Beloit is asking residents to donate new or gently used winter clothing as part of the Beloit Bundle Up campaign. The initiative, which runs from September 16 – October 21, aims to collect coats, snow pants, sweaters, hats, and mittens.

“Ensuring everyone has access to warm clothing this winter is our opportunity to bring comfort to those in need in the Beloit area,” states Celestino Ruffini, CEO of Visit Beloit. This is the fourteenth year Visit Beloit has coordinated the Beloit Bundle Up clothing drive.

This drive provides an excellent opportunity to support our regional neighbors in need as the holiday season approaches. Last year, the community donated 331 items. Contributions can be made at several locations. All collected items will be distributed to Community Action, Inc. For more information or details on how to participate in the Beloit Bundle Up, please contact Savannah Schindler at 608-313-1373.
