Beefsteak Dinner on the Spine

Dress in your best attire and sneak away for one night only as Merrill & Houston’s revives a popular pre-and-post prohibition culinary craze in the form of an ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT, steak-and-beer-filled Beefsteak Dinner party.

Set under the stars on the Ironworks Campus Spine, you’ll travel back in time as this 150-year-old culinary tradition comes back to life before your eyes. As live music fills the air, get into character and leave standard dining etiquette at home. Beefsteak guests are provided with white aprons and butcher hats and are encouraged to eat with their hands. Silverware and napkins are not encouraged but are available upon request.

Wash your steak down with a variety of endless New Glarus beers, served only in Wisconsin. While beer is traditionally the only beverage offered at Beefsteaks, endless wine will also be available upon request.
