Gallery Talk with artist Tanya Aguiñiga at Beloit College’s Wright Museum of Art

Drawing on her upbringing as a binational citizen, who daily crossed the border from Tijuana to San Diego for school, Tanya Aguiñiga’s work speaks of the artist’s experience of her divided identity and aspires to tell the larger and often invisible stories of the transnational community.
Tanya Aguiñiga’s exhibition Art Border Nurtury will be on display in the Wright Museum’s North Gallery until May 14. She will give a gallery talk Wednesday, March 22 at 12:15 p.m. at the Wright Museum of Art, at the corner of Prospect Street and Bushnell Street.
