Teaching for Social Justice: Intersectionality and K-12 Education keynote speech with Dr. Wayne Au

Dr. Wayne Au is professor and interim dean in the School of Educational Studies at University of Washington Bothell.

Au has previously served as the interim dean of diversity and equity for the campus and is an editorial board member of Rethinking Schools. His academic interests broadly encompass critical education theory and teaching for social justice. More specifically, his research focuses on educational equity, high-stakes testing, curriculum theory, educational policy studies and social studies education.
