Definitely visit Beloit College – the state’s oldest continuously operating college. Other than picture-perfect greenery, winding pathways, and friendly squirrels, the college is home to two museums. Both the Logan Museum of Anthropology and the Wright Museum of Art are open to the public.

All summer long, Friends of Riverfront hosts Friday night concerts, dance lessons on Monday evenings, and a special outdoor movie showing at this 23-acre, newly renovated park. Experience the Beloit River Walk – a 3.5-mile paved walk-bike path around the Rock River. Paddle boats, fishing poles, and tandem bicycles are available for rent. The park also features fishing on the lagoon, two picnic shelters, play equipment, and lighted tennis courts. Take a relaxing canoeing or kayaking trip on the Rock River and watch the ducks and geese float by.
Visit Nature at the Confluence, an outdoor nature center within the city, to tour over 10-acres of restored prairie, woodlands, tasting gardens, monarch butterflies, and more. The center also hosts community events such as walking groups, drum circles, and fishing lessons.
