The Stateline Area offers a vibrant lineup of winter festivities and more for all ages!
BELOIT, Wis. – Winter is just around the corner in Beloit, and local businesses and organizations are gearing up to host a variety of winter events and more for families and adults to enjoy throughout the season.
“As fall winds down, Beloit and the Stateline area remains full of excitement with winter-themed activities and other family-friendly and adult events,” says Savannah Schindler, Public Relations Specialist with Visit Beloit. Winter Crafter & Farmers’ Market | Every Saturday, 9am-12pm, November – April | Downtown Beloit Association
- The Beloit Farmers’ Market continues year-round, even though the open-air market is over for the season! Visit to purchase produce, cheese, eggs, honey, meat, crafts, soaps, and other miscellaneous items. Grab lunch from the food truck while you are there and look for free, family-friendly activities in the market.
Lincoln & Liberty | November 2, 9am-4pm & November 3, 9am-2pm | Macktown Living History
- Macktown Living History is hosting their very first Lincoln & Liberty event to observe the 160th anniversary of the 1864 election. At the event, attendees can cast their ballot and experience the reenlistment of veterans of the American Civil War. Admission is $5 for non-members.
Jingle Bell Rockton | November 8-10, 10am-4pm | Downtown Rockton
- For family-fun activities, join Downtown Rockton’s official Christmas open house. Guests can begin their holiday shopping and win prizes by picking up a stamp card from participating locations and collect stamps as they shop. There will be plenty of food and beverages during the holiday festivities as well.
Doves & Diamonds Gala | November 9, 5:30-10:30pm | Eclipse Event Center
- The 20th annual fundraising event supports the services of Beloit Regional Hospice and features a fun event for guests. There will be a cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner from Merrill & Houston’s Steak Joint. Attendees can purchase tickets online for $100 per person and enjoy dancing, a silent auction, wine pull, bourbon raffle, and a ring giveaway from The Gem Shop in Rockton.
Beloit Boutique Wedding Showcase | November 10, 11-2pm | Ironworks Hotel & Beloit Club
- For those recently engaged or planning a wedding or special event, Geronimo Hospitality Group is hosting a wedding showcase featuring various vendors from the Stateline area. Explore hotel rooms, meet vendors, and gather inspiration and ideas. Enjoy light appetizers and mimosas, with a cash bar available for other cocktails. While attendance is free, an RSVP is required by November 3rd.
Kids Fun and Drama Presents Frozen Jr. | November 15-17 | Central Christian Church
- Bring the whole family to enjoy performances of Frozen Jr. The talented Kids Fun and Drama organization will present three shows over the weekend, featuring raffles and concessions available for attendees. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.
Ursula Le Guin: Community Exhibit Opening | November 19, 7-8:30pm | Beloit College
- The opening of an archival oral history exhibit celebrates the connections between science fiction author Ursula K. Le Guin and the Beloit area, marking the 50th anniversary of her utopian novel The Dispossessed. The exhibit is located on the first floor of Morse Library at Beloit College, with free parking available in the 700 block of Emerson Street.
20th Annual Sips & Treats Fundraiser | November 21, 5:30-8:30pm | The Beloit Club
- Purchase tickets online for the community event supporting the Stateline Boys & Girls Club. Tickets include wine and spirit tastings, hors d’oeuvres, desserts, and opportunities to bid on silent auction items and play games for a chance to win prizes.
USS Beloit Commissioning Ceremony | November 23, 10am | Veterans Park, Milwaukee, WI
- In honor of the USS Beloit LCS 29, the commissioning ceremony will take place in Milwaukee. This ship will be the first in naval service named after Beloit, Wisconsin. Community members are invited to attend the ceremony at Veterans Park. While the event is free to attend, tickets are required.
Old Fashioned Festival | November 23-24, 11am-5pm | The Castle at 501 Prospect
- Old Fashioned cocktail enthusiasts can enjoy a two-day festival featuring the classic Wisconsin tradition of Old Fashioneds. The event features tasting stations with ten whiskey selections, along with live bluegrass music, hands-on cocktail building, and more. This is a 21+ event and tickets are available at the door for $15 per person.
Grand Lighted Holiday Parade & Tree Lighting | November 29, 5-8pm | Downtown Beloit
- For over 30 years, the Downtown Beloit Association has hosted the popular holiday parade. The festivities begin with live music at the First National Bank Plaza at 5pm, followed by Santa’s arrival at 6pm to kick off the tree lighting. The parade starts at 6:15pm, featuring beautifully decorated floats. Attendees can enjoy free hot chocolate and photos with Santa throughout the event.
Small Business Saturday | November 30 | Downtown Beloit
As a reminder to shop local during the holiday season, downtown Beloit and its unique shops and boutiques will be open with fantastic deals. Many of these stores feature handmade and locally sourced items that are perfect for those on your holiday shopping list.
