Music at Harry’s Place, Dancing at Harry’s Place, and Movie on the Big Lawn

Music at Harry’s Place is a free summer concert series on most Friday evenings June 14 through August 30, 2024. See the full line-up below.

The series is put on by Friends of Riverfront and features jazz, blues, swing, and big band. Attendees bring their own lawn chairs or blankets and relax under the stars while enjoying the region’s hottest bands! There are also several food truck vendors offering a variety of tasty treats, soft drinks, and beer for those of age.

The concerts take place on the bank of the beautiful Rock River in Riverside Park and offers breathtaking views of the sunset.

Riverside Park is dog-friendly, so you are welcome to bring your furry friend as long as you have him on a leash.

There will be no concert on Aug. 2, 2024, due to the Downtown Beloit Association’s Street Dance.

Friends of RiverFront also holds “Movie on the Big Lawn” every August. The movie is always family-friendly and free! In addition, there are food vendors and fun activities for the kids. This year’s feature is Happy Feet! Playing on August 16 with a rain date of August 18. Activities and food begin at 6:30 p.m. and the movie at dusk.

Dancing at Harry’s Place is another Friends of RiverFront program that offers free dance lessons that begin at 7 pm followed by open dancing that begins at 8 pm. The lessons are held every other second and fourth Monday throughout June, July, and August.
