BELOIT, Wis. – Fall is upon us in the Stateline Area, and the seasonal activities are already underway. Take a sneak peek at what’s in store this September, from outdoor festivals to annual traditions and more, with fun for the whole family.
“The Stateline Area has had a busy summer, and it’s not slowing down this fall,” says Savannah Schindler, Public Relations Specialist with Visit Beloit. “September marks the official start of all things fall, with events like Beloit Heritage Days, Fall Festival, the Beloit Autorama Car Show, and more.” In addition to these September highlights, be sure to visit our website for details on other exciting community happenings throughout the calendar year.
Family Day at the Museum | Monday, September 1, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. | Historic Attractions
- Celebrate Labor Day at Historic Attractions by uncovering decades of history with the whole family during Family Day. Explore more than 80,000 sq. ft. of exhibits, from presidential limousines and Egyptian artifacts to NASA space equipment and the iconic Batmobile. Family Day will include discounted admission, as well as a scavenger hunt with prizes.
Beloit Sky Carp Minor League Baseball Games | April – September | ABC Supply Stadium
- The Beloit Sky Carp, Beloit’s minor league baseball team, offers major league fun at minor league prices. There’s only one more homestand left of the 2025 season, but still lots to enjoy at the ballpark. September’s homestand highlights include a Supper Clubbers Takeover during the Friday night game, a fireworks display after Saturday night’s game, and Sunday Family Fun Day. Visit Beloit is also hosting a ticket giveaway – just snap a photo next to the Beloit letters on the concourse, tag @VisitBeloit, and use hashtag #VisitBeloit on social media for a chance to win a pair of tickets.
Beloit Heritage Days | Friday, September 5 – Sunday, September 7 | Various Beloit Locations
- Explore free events, historic sites, hands-on activities, guided tours, and more during the three-day celebration of Beloit Heritage Days at locations throughout the community. Pick up or print a Beloit Heritage Days passport, get it stamped at four events, and earn a free turtle sundae from Beloit Culver’s. This year’s theme is Open Doors Beloit, and Visit Beloit will join the celebration by opening its doors for a special tour of The 1914 at Visit Beloit on Friday from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Visitors are invited to explore the new event space and hear the history of the building with a presentation.
Downtown Beloit Farmers’ Market | Every Saturday, 8 a.m. – 1 p.m., May – October | Downtown Beloit
- The outdoor Downtown Beloit Farmers’ Market is celebrating their 50th anniversary this year. With more than 130 vendors offering fresh produce, baked goods, crafts, and so much more, it’s the second-largest farmers’ market in Wisconsin, attracting more than 4,000 visitors each week. In addition to shopping, enjoy live music, food trucks, family-friendly activities, and explore the downtown businesses.
Guided Tours | Every Saturday & Sunday, 1-4 p.m., May – October | Beckman Mill
- Beckman Mill, a 50-acre park with a restored 1868 grist mill, dam, mill pond, and more, hosts guided tours full of history. Tours are available every Saturday and Sunday through October, with additional blacksmith and corn grinding demonstrations on the first Saturday of each month.
Macktown After Dark | Saturday, September 6, 7-9 p.m. | Macktown Living History Education Center
- For an evening of history, mystery, and community support, purchase tickets to Macktown Living History Education Center’s fundraiser. The event features a guided, lantern-lit tour of Macktown’s historic buildings and grounds, along with cocktails, snacks, and desserts. Proceeds will help support the center’s educational programs. Tickets are available online for adults 21 and older.
Cruise Night at the Museum | Wednesday, September 10, 5-8 p.m. | Historic Attractions
- For family fun during the week, stop by Historic Attractions to see a showcase of antique and vintage cars, enjoy live music, and grab dinner from the food vendor. This free event also includes discounted admission to the museum and is the final event of the summer monthly series.
Downtown Diva Stroll | Saturday, September 13, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. | Downtown Beloit Shops & Boutiques
- Shops and boutiques in downtown Beloit are coming together to host a fun ladies’ shopping event. Shoppers can pick up a punch card, visit participating stores to collect punches, and be entered into a giveaway. The event will also feature grab bags, photo opportunities, mocktails, and sweet treats.
10th Annual Flying Circus Fun Fly | Saturday, September 20, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. | Rock River Aero Modelers Society Flying Field
- The Rock River Aero Modelers Society is hosting a family-friendly outdoor aircraft flying event, open to the public. Attendees can enjoy a free swap area to buy or sell items, along with refreshments. RV camping is offered for those interested in staying overnight to experience night flying on Friday and Saturday.
Fall Festival | Saturday, September 20, 4:30-10 p.m. | Downtown Beloit
- Formerly known as Oktoberfest, the Downtown Beloit Association will host Fall Festival, its second-largest block party of the year. Enjoy live music from regional bands like Rock Rebel Junction and Dirt Road Rebelz, along with food trucks, a beer tent, axe throwing, and Hammerschlagen. Local businesses will stay open late during the festivities. Admission is just $10, and children 13 and under are free.
49th Annual Beloit Autorama Car Show & Swap Meet | Sunday, September 21, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. | Preservation Park
- Explore one of the Midwest’s largest car shows, featuring an impressive display of more than 1,000 vehicles. Attendees can browse and trade car parts and collectibles while enjoying food and beverages from vendors. Admission is $10, with pricing varying by age.
